NDSU design project

Throughout the Fall of 2020 and Spring of 2021, I worked under my supervisor, Professor Ray-Degges, to create a design solution for the Native American Resource Room in the NDSU student Memorial Union.  We conducted a survey amongst Native American students to learn what needs they have for the space and what they desire to see in their space.  Then I utilized this information to create two different flexible design solutions.  I presented these solutions to the Native American Resource Department in a presentation with Revit renderings and optional furniture arrangements.  The department selected option 2 and Professor Ray-Degges has been working on locating furniture bids.  Design completion is expected late 2021 or early 2022.

INTERNSHIP

The Summer of 2020, I took part in a virtual internship experience under the direction of Sage Roshau, Senior Interior Designer at ESG Architecture & Design and NDSU Professor Susan Ray-Degges, Ph.D.  Throughout the internship experience, I worked on designs which correlated with ESG's design for a medical lab project called 400 North Aberdeen in downtown Chicago.  The pieces I worked on include a conceptual FF&E plan for a coworking amenity space as well as a design for building core areas including the main corridors, elevator lobby, and public restrooms.  Revit and Enscape were used to create the construction documents and renderings. InDesign and Photoshop were used to create the presentation in which I was responsible for pages 18-25.
